In this talk, we study the well-posedness and asymptotic behavior of fluid equations defined in domains with corners. Two issues will be concerned, one is the well-posedness of the initial boundary value problem for the two-dimensional compressible ideal flow with the impermeable boundary condition in domains with corners, another is the small viscosity limit for the two-dimensional incompressible viscous flow with the Navier boundary condition in a quarter space, in which there are boundary layers and corner layers. It is based on joint work with Wen Guo.

王亚光，1992年6月在复旦大学获博士学位，1992年7月至今在上海交通大学任职，现为上海交通大学讲席教授，兼任中国数学会常务理事。从事偏微分方程理论研究，主要研究兴趣包括流体力学边界层的数学理论、奇性分析、空气动力学方程组的间断解理论、热弹性力学方程组的数学理论等，成果发表在J. Amer. Math. Soc., Arch. Rational Mech.
